Sights and Smells of Spring

Everything in our complex is alive and in bloom. The sights and smells of Spring fill the air and we all feel so much more alive.

About Don

I love life. Sometimes it makes sense, other times not. Discerning its underlying patterns and beauty always provides great reward and meaning and is a passion I ineptly follow. I feel deeply attached to nature and love the sea with its distinct moods and colour and find walking along its beaches wonderfully inspiring. Writing, sketching and photography is a sheer joy for me and the blog is one of the places I am able to express these pursuits.

  5. It is so strange to read about Spring and see these glorious flowers as we are moving into Autumn. It’s a very grey day today but I am just about to go out in the rain to find some beautiful things for today’s blog!
Enjoy your Spring, the sights, the smells and the warmth! 🙂

I find it strange too when I hear about how all of you, America included, are moving in to Autumn and Winter and here we are in Spring moving in to Summer. Enjoy your Autumn and Winter. We’ll soon be in London to see our children so we’ll pick up something of your Autumn and Winter.

  6. How wonderful that you are in the southern hemisphere and are entering the newness of Spring! Up here in Canada I live where we are entering autumn and the plants are dying and leaves are falling. While it has its own beauty, I shall temporarily live vicariously through you and breathe in the beauty of spring! Thank you for bringing me there! Gina 🙂
