Caution And Confidence

Felt like some “arty” playing around. Perhaps there should have been another image of him standing in front of the vase. 🙂

About Don

I love life. Sometimes it makes sense, other times not. Discerning its underlying patterns and beauty always provides great reward and meaning and is a passion I ineptly follow. I feel deeply attached to nature and love the sea with its distinct moods and colour and find walking along its beaches wonderfully inspiring. Writing, sketching and photography is a sheer joy for me and the blog is one of the places I am able to express these pursuits.

  2. LOVE this, Don – feeling your whimsical side – and LOVING it!! Too fun…you are one of the most creative people I’ve ever known. The Renaissance Man – he writes, he paints, he is “arty” and very wise. That’s my friend Don.

  8. Angle, perspective and interpretation, Don. That’s what our 8th grade art teacher wrote on the board after two of the pottery “vases” done by male classmates looked more like very graphic anatomy examples. But the art teacher was opposed to destroying or condemning any “artists’ works,” which made the boys grin in triumph–until the teacher called the parents in to pick up the projects…

Never fear stepping out and letting the world seeing who you are 😉 This reminds me of a project my son and I worked on a few years ago – an entire stop animation movie scene with Legos, thanks for the stroll down memory lane, and very nice artistic work, Don!
