A Forest

The forest behind our home.  Love walking through it, especially with the season changing.

About Don

I love life. Sometimes it makes sense, other times not. Discerning its underlying patterns and beauty always provides great reward and meaning and is a passion I ineptly follow. I feel deeply attached to nature and love the sea with its distinct moods and colour and find walking along its beaches wonderfully inspiring. Writing, sketching and photography is a sheer joy for me and the blog is one of the places I am able to express these pursuits.

  1. You are lucky to have such a beautiful place just behind your home. It will enhance every day whatever the weather or the season. 🙂

Yes, we are Sally. There’s actually a field between our back garden and the forest. Last night they finished planting seed and this morning the field was full of crows getting at the seed. So very happy here. Really is beautiful.

  9. Don, this is a wonderful place – it could be a country scene in the upstate of South Carolina or southeast Texas. I would love to take a walk with you there…enjoy.
